Ahoy there, Michelle!
Welcome aboard planDisney! Can you believe you’re only one week away from sailing off on your Bahamas getaway aboard
the Disney Dream? I hope your suitcase is ready, your Pirate gear is packed, and your taste buds are prepped for all the delicious magic headed your way!
On your 3-night itinerary, the ship is currently scheduled for
Pirate Night on Day 2, which just so happens to be
your day at Lookout Cay! It’s the perfect setting to channel your inner buccaneer—maybe you're inspired by Captain Jack Sparrow or maybe you're more of an Elizabeth Swann type, ready to join the Brethren Court in style!
Be sure to keep that
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app handy once you're onboard—it will be your treasure map to all the day's pirate-y fun, including crafts, games, themed character meet-and-greets, and a Pirate Deck Party that ends with a bang—fireworks at sea (weather permitting, of course)! It’s a swashbuckling celebration you won’t want to miss.
Now, because this is a shorter cruise, you probably won’t see the special Pirate Night dinner menu that’s often featured on longer itineraries. Disney does this to make sure Guests get the full experience of the three uniquely themed main dining restaurants. After all, you wouldn’t want to miss the
magic of Animator’s Palate, the
elegance of Royal Palace, or the playful
charm of Enchanted Garden!
As for the other nights of your cruise, they’re currently scheduled as cruise casual—but here’s the secret Disney magic: you can make them whatever you want! I’ve seen Guests go all out with fancy formalwear just because they felt like it (and the Atrium on the Dream does make a pretty dreamy backdrop for photos). So if you want to channel your inner Cinderella or Prince Charming, go for it!
I hope this helps as you chart a course for your upcoming adventure. If any last-minute questions come up while you're packing your pirate gear or polishing your glass slippers, just sail back our way—we're always happy to help!
Sea ya real soon as May brings sunshine, magical ports, and maybe a Mickey bar or two,
Dustin
