Ahoy, Delfia, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you'll soon be embarking on an amazing transatlantic journey aboard the
Disney Dream. So much fun is waiting for you on the ship, and you'll have a chance to explore some beautiful ports of call once you reach Europe. Let's dive into all the fun details!
Your May 2026 cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona includes a few specially themed nights. Keep in mind that the schedule is subject to change, but as of now, here's what you can expect:
- Day 3 (At Sea): Formal Night
- Day 5 (At Sea): Pirate Night
- Day 10 (At Sea): Semi-Formal Night
Dressing up on these nights is optional – you can stick with your cruise casual outfits if preferred. If you'd like to dress up on
formal and semi-formal evenings, plan to wear something along the lines of dress pants with a jacket, a suit, a dress, or a pantsuit. This is also the suggested attire for the adult-exclusive restaurants, which include
Remy and
Palo.
Pirate Night is a beloved tradition on Disney Cruise Line, offered on many sailings. It typically includes a themed dinner menu, crafts, special entertainment, and even fireworks (weather permitting). Dressing up adds to the fun – you can go all out with a costume or simply add a few accessories to your outfit.
Delfia, you won't want to miss the themed deck parties during this cruise, too. Picture high-energy music, dancing, and Character appearances with a festive atmosphere. Plan for the
Sailing Away Deck Party on Day 1 and
Mickey's Color Spin Dance Party on Day 8.
You'll want to make sure to have the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on your phone. Once you board the ship and connect to Wi-Fi, schedule details for the themed nights and deck parties will become available, as well as information about rotational dining, other onboard activities, and more.
Delfia, your amazing adventure awaits. I hope you have a truly memorable time. If you think of any other questions, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney.
