Ahoy, Debbie!
Yo ho ho! It’s a pirate’s life for you on your upcoming
Disney Dream sailing. This is totally my idea of a perfect weekend getaway. Of course, any time I can get marooned on Castaway Cay for a day is fine by me!
On your 3-night cruise, plan for one "cruise casual" night, one Pirate Night, and one optional "dress up” night. Pirate Night is currently scheduled for your second evening onboard, and the other two nights will be announced once you are onboard. In my experience, the first night is cruise casual and the third night is the optional “dress up” night. On “dress up” night, it's up to you how dressy you choose to go: formal, cruise casual, or anything in between.
Pirate Night is one of my favorite evenings because everyone is so festive and energetic. It’s a real buccaneer blast! Guests are decked out in costumes worthy of Captain Jack’s approval! Of course, costumes for
Pirate Night are completely optional, so no one will make you walk the plank if you are not dressed up. Even if we don’t bring full costumes, I still like to throw in some eye patches, hooks, and bandanas to get in the swashbuckling spirit.
The highlights of Pirate Night include a lively deck party punctuated by fireworks at sea (weather permitting) that make the other pirate ships jealous! Check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard. It will help you navigate the dinner menus, deck parties, and character meet and greets.
Besides looking forward to theme nights, you also have Castaway Cay awaiting you and your crew! Make sure you explore all the
fun activities that you can do while on this gorgeous island.
Wishing you a cruise that is nothing but smooth sailing. Please keep us in mind as you continue to plan your adventures on the high seas!
Bon Voyage!
