Greetings Winfrey!
Welcome to planDisney! It's almost time to set sail on your Disney Cruise Line vacation aboard the
Disney Fantasy! This was the first ship I sailed on almost a decade ago and is where I fell in love with Disney cruising. It still holds a special place in my heart and I'm sure you'll love exploring all that the ship has to offer!
Winfrey, some of my favorite things about cruising with Disney are the themed experiences and
rotational dining venues. I was able to find the following schedule (subject to change) for your upcoming voyage so you can best prepare for your evenings:
- Saturday - Casual
- Sunday - Formal
- Monday - Casual
- Tuesday - Pirate Night
- Wednesday - Casual
- Thursday - Semi-Formal
- Friday - Casual
While you are at sea, you can find this information and your restaurant assignments each night in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. The
dress code states that both your formal and semi-formal nights are optional and, in my cruising experiences, attire on these evenings varies widely among guests. Whether you choose to dress up those evenings or not, keep an eye out for some of your favorite Disney characters in their finest attire around the ship's atrium those nights!
The best night in my opinion though is
Pirate Night! Many guests have fun dressing up with bandanas, eye patches, and even complete pirate costumes. If you don't have pirate gear, no worries! Disney Cruise Line will provide a bandana in your stateroom for each guest so you can get into the spirit. The
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique also transforms that evening to become The Pirates League and, as an added bonus, adults can get makeovers that night too! My whole family joined the fun at The Pirates League on our last cruise together and had the BEST time. Even your waiters will be dressed in costumes that night while you enjoy a pirate-themed dinner.
Throughout the evening, you'll find wonderful opportunities to interact with some of your favorite pirates like Jack Sparrow and Captain Hook. In fact, many Disney characters will break out their best pirate gear for photos around the ship that night. The Pirates in the Caribbean Deck Party is one event that you won't want to miss capped off by fireworks at sea!
Winfrey, I hope this helps you prepare for a fabulous vacation! If you have any other vacation planning questions in the future, just remember to set your course to planDisney again!
Bon Voyage!
