Thanx for all of your help. 1st trip to WDW. We have a 6 day (June 3-9) MYW ticket. If we fly in at 5:30 pm on the 3rd and just decide to relax and get to bed early, would we have an extra day at the end of our trip. How does that work?

Your Magic Your Way tickets (if they do not have the non-expiration option) will expire 14 days after the day of first use.

We usually do not go to the parks on our arrival day either.

You will be able to tour the parks on June 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, if you plan on relaxing upon your arrival. Don’t forget that you can visit a resort for dining or travel to Downtown Disney without using a day of your admission. However, I’m all for the relax and early to bed itinerary too!

If you purchased the Magic Your Way tickets with the non-expiration option then you simply use the number of days that are best suited to your family’s visit and save the remaining days for your next trip to WDW.

We usually get the expiring tickets since you have the option to upgrade to non-expiring tickets up to 14 days after first use. Why would this be needed? If someone gets sick, you may have to lie low in the hotel room for a day. This has happened to us.

I wish you a healthy and magical vacation!
