    Hi moms, thanx again for your useful replies! WDW 2/26-3/6/15-1st visit,bday,honeymoon!Which type of bag would be ideal to carry to the parks?Any specific brands/models? Will need to carry atleast camera,cellphone,maybe poncho for wet rides?thanx a million

    Congratulations (times three)! My very first visit to Walt Disney World was 20 years ago for my honeymoon as well. What a magical and exciting adventure you are about to embark upon!

    I have tried several types of bags when visiting the theme parks and have found a couple of favorites.  While I am in love with my Disney Vera Bradley and my Disney Dooney & Burke purses, I have found that typically purses do not allow enough flexibility for my park touring. Also I have discovered my husband and children are much more likely to offer to carry a messenger style bag or backpack than they are my purse. Therefore my favorite type of bag for taking to the theme parks is either a mid-sized backpack or messenger bag.

    I have several Disney themed backpacks and messengers (found at most discount chain stores and online at Disney Store) which are easy to tote around while on vacation at Walt Disney World. Another one of my favorite bags is a "messenger bagg" which I ordered online from Baggallini. This bag has many small compartments which are perfect for organizing and accessing your bag quickly. My husband's favorite bag is a "tactical bag" in the sling style and he takes it with him everywhere, even to work in lieu of a briefcase. The tactical style bags are very durable, rugged, and also have many convenient storage compartments. The tactical style bags can be found at sporting goods stores and many retailers online including Amazon.
