    The Thanos Magic band keeps appearing in rotation, however every time I click on it, it comes up out of stock. Not really sure why it would appear if its out of stock, but moving on, Do I have a chance at getting it, or should I order from shop disney?

    First things first: you’ve got a Walt Disney World Resort vacation planned, and that’s cause for celebration! Yay! I see you’re heading to The Most Magical Place on Earth next autumn, and I think you’re going to love visiting during “spooky season.” It’s really not so scary – but it IS so wonderFALL!

    I was so excited when I read the Disney Parks Blog announcement that Guests can now choose to upgrade their MagicBands to a variety of styles themed to favorite characters, attractions, and even snacks. However, it seems that Stitch has gotten himself involved in the selection process, because it’s been frustrating for many Guests, as availability is limited and often changes. Just like you, I’m trying to snag that Thanos MagicBand for my son, and while I’ve seen the option pop up a number of times, it’s always out of stock by the time I complete the selection. I totally understand your frustration.

    Tabitha, since your visit is still several months away, I recommend that you keep trying. Try different times of day and different days of the week. Be ready to complete the transaction in the event that you are able to secure the Thanos style – that means having everyone else’s selection made so you can check out and hopefully lock in your choices. If you need assistance, the Cast Members on the My Disney Experience support team are super helpful, and can be reached at (407) 939-4357.

    Having said that, there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to get the Thanos MagicBand through My Disney Experience, and there’s always a chance this style will be discontinued. If you really have your heart set on this particular style, I would go ahead and purchase it on ShopDisney if you can find it. Once purchased, you can link the band to your My Disney Experience account and you’ll be all set for your Walt Disney World Resort adventure. (Just make sure not to snap your fingers while wearing it…just in case!)
