Thanks,Moms & Dad for the great advice. I have made our dining reservations for Jan '09. WDW just released the park hours for that month. We have character breakfasts at EP & AK on the mornings those have EMH. Should we switch those ADR?

    Hi Angela,

I think there are 2 possible answers to your situation.  First, having the parks open for Extra Magic Hours for resort guests shouldn't interfere with your dining reservations.  The restaurant won't have any additional crowds; in fact, some may change reservations as you are considering so maybe it will be a bit lighter.

My second thought is, however, that perhaps you were hoping to be within the parks as they opened and have some "alone" time walking to the restaurant.  For example, we like to have reservations at the Crystal Palace before the park opens so that we can take pictures on Main Street with few people on around us.  Similarly, we also use to enjoy breakfast at Restaurantosaurus (no longer available) so as we walked out of the restaurant at park opening time, we were already well within the Animal Kingdom and could walk directly onto Dinosaur before the morning crowds arrived.  If those are things you'd like to do, then perhaps changing the reservation dates would be beneficial.
