    Is thanksgiving week a busy time in the park? Is the park open on thanksgiving day? Any dinner suggestions?

    Hi Marcella,

    Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Very good to know that you plan to spend Thanksgiving at  WDW. The parks are going to be open and It really is a very busy time, but the good thing is that you will be able to admire the beautiful Christmas decoration at the parks. I've been only once on Thanksgiving and we ate at a restaurant called Cape May Cafe inside Disney’s Beach Club Resort. It was crowded and we had reservations, but it was worth it because the food and decoration was splendid. Restaurants with special menus for this year were not released yet. In the past years, more than 30 restaurants troughout the Walt Disney World Resort offered a special menu for this day.I suggest that you follow the Disney Parks Blog to stay informed about all the Disney news.
