    what is thanksgiving week like

    Hi Karen,

Thanksgiving week is usually extremely crowded from the Tuesday prior to the holiday until the Saturday afterwards. Crowds begin to diminish the Sunday after the holiday and are significantly less by the Monday following the holiday. The week prior to Thanksgiving is a great time to visit to avoid crowds. Crowd levels begin to pick up the Sunday prior to the holiday.

    So to break it down:

Week prior to Thanksgiving - low crowds
Sunday before the holiday - crowds begin to arrive
Tuesday through Saturday - peak crowds
    Sunday - crowds diminishing
    Monday - significantly less crowded

    Happy planning!
