Hi there, Deborah!
Welcome, and thanks for bringing your questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m thrilled to hear you’re planning a visit to the
Disneyland Resort during the holiday season. There will be so much extra magic for you to discover as you spend Thanksgiving at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Seeing “it’s a small world” Holiday transform with thousands of twinkling lights is a pixie-dusted experience! Keep an eye out for a giant clockwork mechanism to appear, revealing a menagerie of holiday toys and treats. This special lighting ceremony and projection show is scheduled to happen at 5:15 p.m. each evening during your visit. There’s also nothing like gazing upon Sleeping Beauty Castle when it’s all gussied up for the season, and you can watch it transform into a sparkling spectacle as snow falls and music fills the air on Main Street, U.S.A. Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle is illuminated in stages at 7:00 and 8:00 p.m.
Other seasonal highlights in Disneyland Park will include Haunted Mansion Holiday,
A Christmas Fantasy Parade, and the “Believe...In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular. At Disney California Adventure Park,
Disney Festival of Holidays brings lively music, dance and food inspired by many cultures. The Festive Foods Marketplace offers kiosks serving multicultural holiday fare that celebrates culinary traditions from around the world!
I hope this helps you make plans, Deborah. Please feel free to send us any other questions you may have as your very merry vacation planning continues!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
