    We have Thanksgiving Dinner reservations to Chef Mickey's. Our boys have Pirates League appts as well earlier that afternoon. Does the restaurant policy allow them to attend dinner in full pirate makeup or do they need to be cleaned up before we go?

     Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Heath. We're so glad you stopped by!

     It sounds like you have a quite a fun Thanksgiving planned. A swashbuckling adventure at The Pirate's League AND a feast with Mickey and friends at Chef Mickey's? What could be better? To answer your question, your boys are most welcome to dine at Chef Mickey's in full pirate makeup. In fact, pirates and princesses are regular Guests at this fan-favorite Character Dining Experience! 

     My sons experienced a seaworthy makeover at The Pirate's League a few years ago, and they had the best time. They especially loved receiving their official pirate name and taking the pirate's oath. My little guys got a kick out of all the attention they received through Magic Kingdom Park with their pirate makeup on, but after a few hours, one of my sons wanted it off - and fast! I happened to have a few baby wipes on hand that quickly removed the makeup, but I recommend packing a small package of makeup remover wipes for your visit. Even if your kiddos tolerate the makeup all day long, the makeup remover wipes will make for an easy clean-up at the end of your adventure-filled Thanksgiving!
