For thanksgiving day at Storytellers it says that the characters will be in their holiday finest..I assume Christmas attire?

Greetings, Lori, and welcome to planDisney! Storytellers Cafe is one of my family's favorite Character Dining experiences at the Disneyland Resort. I love the idea of feasting there on Thanksgiving Day!

Lori, as you mentioned, Mickey and his friends will be festively dressed for Thanksgiving Brunch and Dinner. I called the Grand Californian Hotel and spoke with a Cast Member who told me those outfits would be unique to the holiday, and different from the rest of the season. That seems to have been the case last year as well, based on photos I've seen! This is subject to change, of course, but it certainly seems like something you can look forward to seeing!

The Thanksgiving menu at Storytellers Cafe varies depending on whether you're there for brunch or dinner. Regardless of when in the day you go, you can expect to find a wide selection of foods, a carving station, holiday pies, and more. And during your meal, you'll have a chance to meet and take photos with Characters!

Aside from Thanksgiving Day, there are also other fun dining opportunities at Storytellers Cafe. You can join Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party for breakfast and brunch, or Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast for dinner most days (with a reservation) through January 6, 2026. Visit the Disney Parks Blog for a preview of the Character outfits for these seasonal experiences.

I'm feeling jolly, Lori, because the holiday season will kick off at the Disneyland Resort soon! One of my family's beloved traditions is going to see the elaborate gingerbread display at the Grand Californian Hotel. It will also be fun to participate in the Chip and Dale's Ornament Trail search through the Downtown Disney District. If you're planning to head into the parks, I hope you'll have a chance to see Mickey, Minnie, and their pals dressed in their holiday attire – you'll notice it's a very merry rendition of their 70th Celebration outfits!

We're approaching a very special time of year, and I'm thankful for the chance to have helped you with your Thanksgiving Day plans. If you think of any other questions, Lori, please reach out. We are always happy to help here at planDisney!
