Thanks! youve been a great help so far. 23 Oct 2010 : Can you tell us what time would be advisable to book Donalds Safari Breakfast on our 1st full day and what time will AK open from and to? what can we do that night?

    Hi Kelly!

On October 23, 2010, the Animal Kingdom Park is open from 9:00-5:00. I would reserve Donald's Safari Breakfast for around 8:00am. The restaurant opens an hour before the Park does, and you can gain early access this way. While the attractions will not be open, you can still see birds on your way to the back of the Park. Donald's has delicious food and the character interaction is fantastic.

You should be finishing up your breakfast right about the time the Park opens. I recommend that you head left and go on the Kilimanjaro Safari at that point. The animals are most active in the morning, so it's a great time to ride.

On our Animal Kingdom days, we eat dinner at Boma - Flavors of Africa. It is located inside the Animal Kingdom Lodge and is so good. In fact, it's my husbands favorite "must do" meal at Disney. After dinner, you can explore the beautiful Lodge, taking time to view the animals on the Savanna. There are often "cultural safari's" in the Lodge with Cast Members who share stories of Africa and teach the children to play drums.

You can then top off your day with a dip in your Resort pool or head to Downtown Disney for shopping and more.

Hope this helps and enjoy your vacation,
