Thanks, Tonya! All your suggestions have been great. Just booked my boys for pirate cruise out of the Beach Club. DVC members, but not staying there this trip. Are my husband and I allowed to lounge by the pool til the boys return from their cruise?

    Hi Lori,

Thanks so much for the feedback.  I can't remember when your trip is, but our boys may sail together!  My two pirates will be on a cruise departing the Yacht Club Marina in mid-April!  They can't wait.  Unfortunately guests (including DVC members) cannot pool "hop" at Stormalong Bay at the Yacht and Beach Club.  This pool is so incredibly popular, that guests staying on property would have trouble finding a lounge chair if guests from other resorts were permitted to swim.  Cast Members do occasionally do resort room ID checks to ensure the policy is being complied with.  If you are travelling at a non-peak time, DVC members are permitted to hop at other resorts (with the exception of the Beach Club and Animal Kingdom Lodge).  Therefore, you could head over to the pool at the BoardWalk Inn and Villas to spend some time.  The BoardWalk is a short walk away from the marina where your boys are sailing from.

When my boys depart on their pirate adventure, I plan on strolling through Epcot on my own (imagine that!) for an hour or so.  There are also great shops and restaurants where you and your hubby can grab breakfast on the BoardWalk while you wait for your boys.

I hope your kids and you have a wonderful morning!
