THANKS TERRY! what places are good to eat that is good for me and my kids, I have no idea? does the character dining are included with the basic dining plan? Do i have to make reservations before the trip? all your information is very helpful. :)

    Hi Irma!

Yes, Character Dining is included in the Basic Dining Plan. Character Dining counts as a table service, so you and family can use your table service for the more “traditional” sit down restaurants (where you are served, eat, and leave), or the character meals, where, in addition to the traditional experience, you have various Disney characters walk up to your table for hugs, photos, autographs, and what-not. Cool huh?

All character meals only count as 1 meal entitlement per person, with the exception of Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom, which counts as 2 entitlements. I should also mention that Signature restaurants (the more upscale restaurants like Citricos at the Grand Floridian) and Dinner Shows (i.e. Spirit of Aloha show at the Polynesian) count as 2 meal entitlements per person as well. Beyond those, everything else is only 1 entitlement!

I STRONGLY encourage you to make reservations before your trip. This ensures you get the place you want at the time you prefer. You can either try to reserve reservations online or call Disney Dining at 407-939-3463.

Some of my family’s favorite restaurants are Liberty Tree Tavern, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Coral Reef, The Garden Grill, Les Chefs de France, 50’s Prime Time Café, Rainforest Café, Cape May , and Chef Mickey’s. Can’t go wrong choosing any or all of these..

    Have a Tiggerific Time!
