Thanks Tanya! I need help again,I am wondering if my family and I should use our ddp to hit most of the signature spots(cali grill ,hbd, jiko, narcoossee, citricos and charter dinning)? We have park hoppers and6d/5n.Which park would you start with?THANK U !!!!

    Hi Andruletta,

Thanks for writing back!  Using the deluxe dining plan to experience some of the Signature Dining establishments is a fantastic idea.  You have so many table credits (3 per day, plus two snacks and a resort mug), that it would be hard to use them all up on restaurants that take one credit per person.  These restaurants are costly if you are dining without the plan, so I say why not!   The food, service and presentation at these spots is truly impressive.

I do recommend sampling a variety of restaurants, however, including some buffets and/or character meals to get a full "Disney Dining Experience".  We love the dinner buffets at Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare.  Some other fun spots for lunch inside the parks include 50s Prime Time Cafe and Sci-Fi Dine In Theater (at Hollywood Studios).  Many of the breakfast buffets are fantastic, and if you are going to be eating just a "snack" for lunch, are a good choice on a day you are doing a Signature Restaurant.  (Trust me, you'll be so full from breakfast that you won't want to eat until dinner.)  Cape May Buffet and Chef Mickey's are two of our favorite breakfast spots.

As for where to start, my family has a tradition of kicking off each trip at the Magic Kingdom.  There's something totally magical about starting a vacation by looking at Cinderella Castle.  However, if there is a "must do" attraction at one of the other parks that your family can't wait to experience, by all means, start there!

    Have a fabulous time!
