Welcome to planDisney, William! How exciting that you're planning a trip for 2024. I'll be taking an adult-only trip this spring and I can't wait to be back at
the Most Magical Place on Earth.
William, one of my favorite things about Walt Disney World is that it's perfect for dreamers of all ages, so let's talk about your adult-only trip. The
Disney Dining Plan is a great way to pre-pay for your meals and get the feel of an all-inclusive stay, however you are not able to split meals. When you add the Disney Dining Plan (or the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan) to your reservation, you must add it for every member of your party. So, for example, if you have 2 adults in your
Disney Resort Hotel room, you will need to add the plan for both of you or not at all. As you continue to plan, it might also be helpful to know that if you purchase the Disney Dining Plan it will be added to every night of your Disney Resort Hotel reservation.
Now, William, I understand that flexibility is sometimes the key to dining, and my husband and I have often split meals at Walt Disney World. If you are planning to split meals or perhaps order an appetizer as an entree, please make sure you review the menu before arriving. There are a few restaurants that are priced per person and don't allow sharing. For example,
Cinderella's Royal Table inside Magic Kingdom Park is a prix-fixe menu and is charged per guest. Alternatively, there are two other restaurants inside Magic Kingdom Park that I have found to be great for sharing plates or ordering a la carte:
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen and
Tony's Town Square Restaurant. Both also have a nice wine selection!
I hope this helps as you're thinking about your February vacation. If you have any additional questions, I hope you'll come on back to your new pals here at planDisney.
Wishing you a pixie-dusted stay,
Lauren
