Thanks for taking my question. My family is going to Disney in Nov with free dining and we do not like spending so much time at table service restaurants. Is it still allowed to substitute table services meals for quick service meals?

    Hi Thomas,

Historically, this has been the case, and I have not heard of it changing. Often, guests might decide to use their table service credits for quick service meals if they are not able to get the advanced reservations they want or like you, they might not want to spend the time at a table-service restaurant. In most all cases, you can simply let the cast member know that you would like to use a table-service credit and he/she can make that deduction from your Disney Dining credits.

The one case which is not allowed is using table-service or quick-service credits for snack credits. This is strictly prohibited and stated as such in the 2013 Disney Dining Plan brochure.

Please keep in mind that policies can change without notice.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
