    Thanks for this site! WE LOVE IT! Coming Aug. -9 nights -no dining plan like usual because of the # of days. Staying at FW and will cook some nights. Have some reservations but wondering how strict the cancellation policy is for cancelling day of.THANKS

    Hi Jodi-Ann,

    With credit card guarantee dining locations, it will depend upon the location and their policies. I've had to cancel on a couple of different occasions. Once, our child was ill and the dining location was very understanding. On another occasion, it was just a matter of our itinerary changing. I was honest with Disney Dining about our plans and how I wasn't sure we'd make it in time. It was quite difficult to ask for the location to waive the cancellation fee. I was transferred several times and after speaking with different layers of management, they reluctantly waived the fee. I will think twice before booking a credit card guarantee location again if I think we might not make it! I was grateful for the customer service, however other locations might not have been as forgiving.
