Thanks for sharing your vast knowledge. I read your panel every day! We're coming to WDW 12/5 thu 12/18. I've heard that It's A Small World will be closing at some point for refurbishing. Can you please tell me if it will be running those days? Thanks!

    Hi Deborah,

Thank you for the kind words - it is our pleasure to assist you. Great news!  "it's a small world" is scheduled for refurbishment beginning Sunday, Aug. 1st, 2010 - Friday, Oct. 22nd, 2010 so it will be reopened during your visit.

You can keep an eye on scheduled Operational Updates (closings) by going to the calendar for each park.  Here are the links:

    Magic Kingdom
    Epcot
    Disney's Hollywood Studios
    Animal Kingdom

From there, choose Dec 2010 from the drop down list beside the View Month tab. That will give you a list of the hours of operation & Extra Magic Hours for each day. To check for scheduled Operational Updates, click on your dates of travel. To the right of the schedule for a particular day, you will see closings if any are scheduled.

You can also check on www.allears.net.  Search for "Rehabs and Closures". It is an unofficial Disney website but they do an excellent job of giving you the info in one location. You can always confirm by clicking on the links on the official Walt Disney World links shown above.

Please keep in mind that attractions may close without notice at any given time for a number of reasons. Wishing you many magical memories :-)  Allison
