Thanks for your response Andrea. I would love any tips you can offer to make our first WDW trip a success! There's only three of us, my husband and I and our 5 year old daughter that will be making this trip. Where's the $85/night for Value resorts? :)

    Hi, Mimi!

So glad to hear from you again!

Depending on when in April you'll travel to Walt Disney World, the rate for Disney's All-Star Resorts will most likely be the least expensive. For example, if the 3 of you arrived at Disney's All-Star Music Resort on Sunday, April 7, 2013, the rate that night is $87.20. When I price out packages for trips to WDW, I like to change details to see what the effect will have on the cost of our stay. For example, a Friday or Saturday night stay is usually a bit more expensive than a Sunday-Thursday night stay during an adjacent week (with the exceptions of holidays, of course.) I've stayed at Disney's All-Star Music several times and really love it. Despite its being a Value Resort, Disney theming is everywhere, with a great food court, fantastic guitar-shaped pool and convenient, complimentary Resort Buses. We love it.

I recommend that you look at the Dining Plans offered, paying particular attention to the 2013 Dining Plan. This will allow you and your little princess the opportunity to enjoy character dining as well as additional Table Service dining without worrying about the cost. Because you'll know the price of the Dining Plan before you even leave home, you can more easily budget your food costs, then plan to maximize the entitlements on the plan by mapping out where to get the best value for your dining dollar. I can help you with that, too, Mimi! For me, it's all part of the fun!

Send me more questions, including the possible dates of your stay, if you or your family have any particular character, attraction or dining interests, and I'll help you plan more details. What fun!
