Another ? for you Thanks on previous quick response. What is estimated cab fare from Boardwalk to Poly? What is your opinion on Pirate & Pal cruise to watch wishes? It will be 2 adults and would do this day b4 we check into Poly. It's my friend's 1st v

    Hi Debbie!

Thank you for sending me another question.  In my opinion, a taxi form the Boardwalk Inn to the Polynesian Resort should cost between $10 and $15 plus tip.  That's based on a recent taxi ride I took from the Polynesian to Downtown Disney, which is a little farther for the taxi.

The Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage is a great way to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks show Wishes from the Seven Seas Lagoon without paying for a private Wishes Cruise.  A private Wishes Cruise with just two adults would be a lot more expensive than joining a group via the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage.

Just know that you will spend some time with Disney characters and that your host will lead the group in singing and will often engage in Disney trivia.  I personally think all of that is great, especially having the opportunity for special photos with the characters.  However, some adults may not appreciate it, especially interacting with the characters -- some adults would say that is "too much Disney".  Personally, I say "bring on the characters", as I always enjoy seeing them.

Have a magical vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
