Thanks for your previous help! If staying offsite with ECV, What is the best way to park-get ECV rider to the park entrance? Should we drop off at front gate then park or obtain handicap parking? We will be in multiple cars for EPCOT, AK, MK & DS.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christine! This is an excellent question. Logistics planning can save you a lot of time and fuss!

You may already know that  ECVs cannot be placed on a parking lot tram. While I have seens guests drive themselves via their ECV to the front while others in their party hop onto the tram, most disability parking in Disney lots is close enough to the front entrance where the tram would not be required. I would have the EVC rider visit their doctor and request a temporary handicapped parking tag, if they don’t already have one. This would allow you to park in the handicapped parking spots and have a short trip to the front of the park. Your other option is to speak with the Cast Member at the parking entrance, and ask for specifics about dropping your party member at the front of the park or the TTC while you and others park the cars.

You can also refer to the Guests with Disabilities – Frequently Asked Questions for any other issues that need a quick answer, like accessibility or other transportation needs. If I can help you with other planning needs, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
