Hi, thanks for your prev. feedback. It looks like were staying at the Cornado. Would you stay in preferred or standard? It's a 300 difference…I think I'm driving myself crazy w/all this!

    Welcome Back Leigh Ann!

I am so glad to hear back from you! Disney's Coronado Springs is a great choice! The resort is huge! The best thing about this resort are the beautiful views surrounding the lake - Lago Dorado. The difference between the preferred and standard  rooms are not the rooms itself, rather the location. The preferred rooms in Disney's Coronado Springs Resort are located in the section called "Casitas" which is located next to the main building and the dining areas. (If you have an opportunity, do an internet search for the resort map for Disney's Coronado Springs so that you can get a visual - allears.net has a good copy).  When I stayed here, I booked a standard room. It was very nice, however it was a little far from the main building. It is my understanding that there is now an internal shuttle system to transport guests around the resort. Personally, I would probably save the money and use it to splurge on dinner or merchandise.  Especially since the main pool featuring a water slide is located closer to the standard rooms.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks again for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! If I can help you with anything else, I am here for you!

    Happy Planning!
