Thanks to this panel, I realized there is a MNSSHP when we are there 11/2! (arrive 11/1). How far in advance do we need to line up for the parade for great seats? And nothing starts until 7? Want to do as much party as we can with young kids who may crash!

    Hi Kari!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is so much fun!  My husband and I had a date night at the party last Friday and came home with a few super heavy trick-or-treat bags filled with candy.

Per our experience, party guests were allowed to enter the Magic Kingdom at 4pm, so I suggest you get there early.  The party doesn't officially start until 7, so you have a couple hours to enjoy the attractions before the events begin.  You will hear a (creepy) announcement that the party is starting.

Guests start lining up for the parade at least 30 minutes prior.  My favorite location is right on Main Street.  There are two parades; 8:15 and 10:30.  The second parade is almost always less crowded, if you can make it that late.  Happy HalloWishes starts at 9:30, so guests who are waiting for the first parade stay and catch the fireworks show afterwards.  We watched the fireworks from the back side of the castle near the Mad Tea Party.  Although we couldn't see the castle projections, we had an amazing view of the fireworks from where we were.

    Have a spooktacular day!
