Thanks Mom's Panel. LOVE your info! Vacation 4/28/12-5/5/12 with DS8 DD5, and DD2. Meal plan with meals arranged. Going to CRT for breakfast already. Would paying extra for second princess meal (probably breakfast) at Akershus be overkill?

    Hi Sara,

Akershus has a great princess breakfast.  I absolutely adore the character interaction, and I think it's a wonderful experience.  Having said that, I don't think I would do both Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus on the same vacation.

Now, there are other character meals I might consider.  If you really want another princess experience, consider dining at 1900 Park Fare for dinner.  It features Cinderella, so you'll get the princess element, as well as Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, and both Step Sisters.  Lady Tremaine is really funny, as are the sisters.  The food is quite good too.

Are you doing any other character meals?  We also really enjoy dining with Winnie the Pooh at Crystal Palace.  If you're looking specifically for character dining in Epcot, I would suggest Garden Grill.  Chip & Dale join Mickey and Pluto at this restaurant in the Land Pavilion.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
