Thanks Mona for your advice! I would like to prepare a box with gifts for each of the baby girls to give them when we arrive, what would you suggest to put in it? I`ll sure be bothering you with some more questions as they arise while I plan the trip!!

    Hi Ana,

I am thrilled to help you plan your magical vacation!

I love the idea of a box with gifts for the girls when you arrive. I always took lots of new toys for my daughter when we traveled to Walt Disney World when she was little. I found that the most important thing was that the toys were new to her. They did not have to be expensive, but just novel enough to hold her attention. I would often stockpile the types of toys that come with fast food children's meals and bring those down on vacation. Then, I could break them out of my backpack when she started to get fussy in line. Another fun idea is bubbles. You can blow them for the children and they enjoy watching them float around.

Also, consider stickers. Even if they are not old enough to peel stickers themselves, you can put a whole bunch of stickers on their clothes and this will often keep babies enchanted as they investigate the stickers. It would be super cute if they were Disney-themed! You could also consider getting some Disney-themed board books. I did a search on amazon.com for "Disney board books" and got many results, including some sets of many board books, which you could split up so each girl gets her own.

I have a final thought for you on this, which is to visit the unofficial site for A Baby's Best Friend at abbf.com. This company rents many items that you might need for visits to Walt Disney World with babies, including strollers, high chairs, and so on. From their homepage, go to "equipment photos & prices" and scroll down to "activities." There are toys to rent, which come in sets, for different ages of children. We rented these toys for my daughter when she was between 1 and 2 years old, and they were so great for her to play with while we were at our resort. Of course, you do have to return these when your vacation is over.

I am really enjoying helping you to plan your vacation with your baby girls, Ana! Please do come back and ask as more questions arise.
