So right now, dates for May 2027 haven't been released yet, but on trend, Walt Disney World Resort opens its bookings for the following calendar year, starting around May 2026. Now, this isn't a guarantee. Still, late spring and early summer are typically when I'd start checking back to see if your dates have become available, book immediately, keep an eye out for
special offers, and once a rate you like becomes available, you'll be able to
call Disney. Where a Cast Member can easily add that special to your current reservation. As I'm not sure what their promotions will be next year, I’d check periodically to ensure you're quick to jump on these specials as they tend to sell out.
Between now and then, I recommend familiarizing yourself with the
Disney Resort hotels you may be interested in staying at. There are so many great options to choose from, so now is the time to dive into your research. I can't stress how excellent the
benefits of staying on site are, and I highly recommend looking into those as well. While you're at it, go ahead and check out
Lightning Lanes and the many
dining options available. That way, when the time comes for you to book your trip, you'll already be a pro.
Having that full year really helps with planning, too, and there are so many fun things coming in 2027. You're sure to have a fantastic trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
