    Thanks Marc! We will have our own car. Would we be able to park at the Polynesian without dining reservations? (staying at POR) or should we use alternate transportation that day?

    Hi Kathy!

         Thanks for asking me a question!  Yes, it is possible to park your car at the Polynesian Resort for 1 to 3 hours without Advanced Dining Reservations if you desire to look around the Resort or eat at Captain Cooks (Quick Service restaurant). Just tell the Cast Member at the gate what you are planning to do (keep in mind that at busy times of the year the Polynesian Resort parking lot is only open to Resort Guests and those with Advanced Dining Reservations at one of the restaurants inside the Resort).  What is not permitted is parking at the Polynesian Resort and leaving your car there all day if you are not a Guest staying at the Polynesian Resort.

    You could park your car at the Ticket and Transportation Center (the TTC) and walk or take the Monorail to the Polynesian. The Polynesian is only about a 5 minute walk from the Ticket and Transportation Center (the TTC) or only one stop on the Resort Loop Monorail.
