Hi Kris!
So nice to hear from you again.
In order to receive a Florida Resident discount, applicable Florida resident ID must be shown at check-in or upon ticket purchase.
If your dad will indeed be staying with you, in your resort room, then he must make the resort reservation in his name as the Primary Guest and show proof of residency upon arrival and check-in at the resort. If he will not be staying with you, he may still make a reservation for you, in
your name, if he wishes to pay for the reservation on your behalf, but Florida Resident discounts will not be applicable.
Keep an eye on the Walt Disney World website for great
Special Offers which change all the time and are applicable to non-residents of Florida state. Even if you've already booked, you can call in to inquire about availability if a new offer comes out, and switch your reservation over to the new offer if it's available for your arrival date.
Thanks for visiting me with your great question.
I hope to hear from you again soon.
Wishing you a Magical time as you plan for your fall visit to Walt Disney World Kris!
Kirsten
