Thanks Kirsten. I have another question. I see WDW has a campground ! if we stay at the campground do we get the same benefits as those staying at a resort hotel (extra park hours, Disney plan, etc.?) Is there anything special just for those camping?

    Hi Lisa!

It's so nice to hear from you again!

Considering a stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground is a great, fun option!
In doing so, you are still absolutely considered to be a Walt Disney World Resort Guest and you'll still benefit from all the usual perks of staying on property such as Extra Magic Hours, Disney's fantastic transportation system, being able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan as an addition to your package, and more! The campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort even include the usage of fantastic pools and recreation options right on site. With 4 different types of campsites to choose from, you'll be able to select just what your family needs! It's a great and economical option to consider.

In the evening, right on site you'll be able to enjoy Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long, roast some marshmallows and watch a nightly, Disney classic movie under the stars. There's even catch-and-release fishing for some added fun for the entire family. I've included the link to the fabulous Recreation at Fort Wilderness Resort so that you can read all about it!

Please don't hesitate to visit again soon with more questions Lisa!
It's always a pleasure to hear from you and my other, fellow Canadians!

Wishing you a simply Magical time as you plan your next trip to Walt Disney World!
