Thanks you so much Kaylene for helping me out with the dining credits question. I have another one if you don't mind. With the Platinum package are we allowed to do the Illuminations dinner and dessert and/or Safari Celebration dinner?

    Hi again, Donna!

I just got off the phone with Disney Dining. The IllumiNations Dinner & Dessert Reception and the Safari Celebration Dinner that you are referring to are both Grand Gathering Experiences (for parties of 8 or more). As of now, the Grand Gathering Experiences are no longer going to be offered effective the end of January, 2012.

I did learn, however, that you can use your Platinum plan credits towards one of the fabulous Fireworks Cruises at either the Magic Kingdom or Epcot. You'll want to call 407-WDW-PLAY or (407-939-7529) to inquire further about this. Be sure to tell them you want to use your Disney Dining Platinum Plan for it and see which options they give you. The Cast Member I spoke with did a bit of research and came back with that information.

Hope this helps and please let me know if I can assist you further,
