    Thanks, Kari, for your advice about staying in a grand villa. Home resort is BCV which does not have GVs. What are the chances of being able to book a GV at the other DVC resorts with having to wait until 7 months away? We visit in the summer.

    While I, obviously, can't make any guarantees, you should be able to book a Grand Villa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa or Disney's Old Key West.  Both resorts are large and have a higher number of Grand Villas.

    I just did a quick test on the DVC Member website and selected a random week in July.  A Grand Villa at Saratoga Springs was available for the entire length of stay.

    I'm getting so excited for you!!!  Do your grandchildren have any idea at all that you are planning this for them?  What a treat!!
