Thanks Kara for your reply! In case we are not able to book and decide to have dinner somewhere else. Are we allowed to go to the beach at the polynesian without being guests? In case we are allowed, where should we park our car? Thanks again!

    Hello again, Sebastian!

You are more than welcome to watch the fireworks from the Polynesian Resort beach; you don't need to be a guest of the resort.  In fact, you are welcome to enjoy all the offerings at the resort except swimming (and of course, visiting the rooms!).

As for parking, I'd park at the Polynesian Resort and just share with security that you are coming to the resort for shopping and for the fireworks. As a back-up plan, the Ticket and Transportation Center is right next door.  When you park there, you can either ride the monorail to the Polynesian Resort or you can walk over to the resort (it is a very short walk). However, I don't think you should have any trouble parking at the resort.

To help with your planning, in previous years there have been two sets of fireworks at the Magic Kingdom on New Year's Eve.  One at 8:30 pm and another at 11:50 pm (the times may be different in 2012).

Thank you for the question; I'm happy to help!
