Hi, Debbie!
Let's get a plan so Princess Sara gets to meet all her Disney pals! Character dining is a wonderful way to enjoy a great meal and meet so many of the Disney friends.
Minnie Mouse will be pleased to meet you at Chef Mickey's along with Mickey, Goofy and Pluto. Chef Mickey's is in the Contemporary, but you do not have to be a resort guest to dine at this restaurant. All you need is an Advance Dining Reservation which you can make online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE. (Note that characters are always subject to change.)
Sleeping Beauty has always been my daughter's favorite princess. She can often be found at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (Norway Pavilion in Epcot) where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served. You will meet several princesses here, and they rotate so you never know for sure who will be there, but you may meet Belle, Mulan, Jasmine, or even Mary Poppins. Another place you might catch up with the lovely Sleeping Beauty is in the Magic Kingdom where she is often available for photos and autographs.
Wilderness Lodge does not have any character dining, but you are still welcome to go to other resorts for their character meals. Wilderness Lodge has a lovely, outdoor feeling as you are snuggled in the woods with a great pool. There is boat service to the Magic Kingdom and bus service to all the parks. The Contemporary is home to Chef Mickey's and has a very modern feel. You can walk to the Magic Kingdom or take the monorail. Monorail service is available to Epcot, with buses to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
Best wishes to you as you plan for the perfect dining and resort!
