Thanks for the info Joel! I was also wondering if planning a mid-morning brunch at Cafe Mickeys would be hard to do if we were planning on going to MK before we ate and then returning after? We do have hopper passes and the dining plan. Thanks!

Hey, Carrie! Thanks for coming back.

You've got a knack for planning! Consider this recommendation my yin to your yang.

Hitting Chef Mickey's for brunch is an awesome idea, especially if you're coming from the Magic Kingdom. I'd recommend getting one of the latest breakfast times possible (11:25 a.m. ish.) This way, you get a full morning in at the park and can start your midday break off with a bang at Chef Mickey's. You'll also find that the dining area in Chef Mickey's gets less crowded the later it gets. When we did this, the characters came around twice because there were fewer tables to cover at the end.

After you eat, you can either return to the Magic Kingdom or take a bus at the Magic Kingdom back to your resort. It's a five minute walk to hoof it from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary.
