Thanks for all the info! When we go back for our 2nd trip my son will be 11 daughter 8. What character dining do u suggest for each of those age groups? I want them to both enjoy it!

    Hi Alicia!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

Does your daughter like the Disney Princesses?  If so I would thoroughly recommend Cinderella's Royal Table - this is right inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom park, and you are greeted by Cinderella herself for photographs, before you are shown to your dining table, and then some of the princesses will visit with your table for photos, autographs and interaction with your family.  This is very popular so  it is recommended that you do so at your earliest opportunity.  Advance reservations for all dining can be made online, or by calling (407) 939 3463 up to 180 days ahead of time.  Another dining experience featuring princesses can be found at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot.

My favourite character dining, and one that I am sure your son will enjoy (and your daughter too) is at Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort - this is a very lively, fun meal with lots of interaction with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald.  This is also very popular so please try and make your reservation early.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
