    thanks for all the help.we stayed at AllStar and love bugs were horrible.3yo dd hates bugs. this year we are stayin @ POR-riverside 9/26-10/6/2012. how will the lovebugs be at this resort and time of year? Thanks again for all the answers.

    Hi there Nathan!  I totally sympathize with your concern.  My 4 year old is absolutely terrified of bugs, even the friendly love bugs.  I can remember her screaming hysterically while posing with Winnie the Pooh last year when a pair of love bugs hovered in her line of sight.  The poor PhotoPass photographer was trying to snap the perfect picture and she was jumping around and screaming ever so loudly.  Poor Pooh just stood there trying to make her happy!  Memories, huh?  

    We just stayed at Port Orleans last month, and to be honest, we definitely encountered the occasional happy couple... of love bugs that is!  I think they are just really common in central Florida.  We actually sprayed down with some eco-friendly bug deterrent each morning and it really seemed to help!  I can't remember them being as bad in the Fall, so hopefully your vacation will be all smiles and "Love Bug Free."
