Hello! Thanks for helping me out with my questions. Can you use a Disney gift card to pay for gratuity at the restaurants? We are using the dining plan.

Hi, Amanda!  We're more than happy to help with your trip planning; that's what we're here for!  As for paying your gratuities, you certainly can use a Disney gift card.  Another option is to charge them to your Key to The World card and then use the Disney gift card to pay your balance at check-out.  Personally, I prefer doing it that way because I like to have one compiled statement of all my charges.  A couple of days before I check-out, I head down to the lobby and request my folio.  Once I've looked it over I then use a Disney gift card to cover my charges.  But if you prefer to pay with your gift card at the restaurant you free to do it that way, too!  Have a great time.

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
