thanks so much for all your help in planning!! Do you think an 18mos old will be scared at T Rex restaurant? Our 5 year old daughter loves dinosaurs. Has anyone had experiences there with babies?? I know every baby is different. thanks.

    Hi Amy:

TRex Cafe is a great restaurant with an awesome theme and large menu. But it is a very loud restaurant. And you hit the nail on the head, every baby is different. I have two young boys. The older one, even when he was 2, was never phased by the lights, noise and dinosaurs at TRex. However, my younger boy is more sensitive to loud noises and frankly, I remember a fairly difficult meal at TRex when he was about 18 months old and was uncomfortable with the loud in-your-face experience.

If you think your 18 month old may be uncomfortable with the loud T Rex experience, I recommend eating at another restaurant at Downtown Disney but visiting the T Rex Cafe's gift shop, which is located right next to the entrance of the restaurant.

    Enjoy your vacation.
