    Thanks for your help. Planning on making reservations for chef mickeys at 7am on our first day.Staying at yacht club was thinking walking through international gateway & getting the monorail, are they running at this time, & will the gateway be ope

    Hi Adam,

    Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a fabulous way to start your Walt Disney World vacation! However, the International Gateway at Epcot will not be open that early in the morning. Your best bet would be to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom Park and walk to the Contemporary Resort. You could walk to the Magic Kingdom Park Monorail Station and take the Monorail, but in almost the same amount of time you can walk to the Contemporary. 

    If you are concerned about how much time the bus ride and walk will take, you can always take a taxi. Rates are usually reasonable and with teenagers we have found that a few extra minutes sleep is well worth the few dollars spent on a taxi!
