Thanks for all of your help. The panel has been great in planning our vacation. I am trying to decide which type/size of pen works best for the characters - a standard Sharpie style, or something thicker? Thanks again!!

    Hi Melissa!

Getting autographs from the characters was one of my daughters most favorite things to do on our last visit. She filled two autograph books with all of her signatures and had a great time!

I had purchased a set of Sharpie markers at my local Walmart before we left for vacation. They were thicker than regular sharpies and had a cap on each end - one was a regular point and one was slanted for calligraphy type writing. They set included three markers in red, blue and black. We used these and none of the characters had any problem signing the books as far as I could tell. We always made sure to have the cap removed and ready for them to sign.

I have seen other people use the regular size sharpies as well. The resort gift shops and most shops in the parks sell thick, slightly longer than normal pens that are usually located right ext to the autograph books. These also seem to be a popular choice. Personally though, I like to use the markers because they show up better on the page than a pen.

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful vacation!
