Thanks for all of your help! This is an off-the-wall question. We are leaving in a week,we will be @ OKW. My DH is diabetic. How should he dispose of any insulin syringes he will use on the trip, either at resort or at parks? Thanks in advance!

    Hey Chrissy!

Not off the wall at all! One of the reasons that I adore Disney is that traveling with a medical condition isn't any more than a wee bump in the road there!

When you check in at your Disney Resort let the Cast Member know that you have a medical need for a 'sharps container' and "MouseKeeping" will bring one to stay in your room during your stay. Isn't that fabulous? Last year my husband and I had our container mailed down to the Resort and didn't even need to! Disney is all prepared for us. See, I should have asked the Disney Moms Panel!!

When you are in the Parks stop by the First Aid Station to dispose of syringes in the sharps containers that they keep for Guests. If needed, the First Aid Stations can also store insulin in the fridge while you are in the Parks.

First Aid Stations are clearly marked on the Park maps and very easy to find once you are there!

Y'all have a great time in Disney World!
