    Thanks so much for your help, you guys are great!! After much debate we've switched resorts to POR Riverside in a Royal Guest Room, we are so excited! It's been about 20 yrs since I've been to POR any suggestions on garden or river view? Thanks again!

    Port Orleans Riverside is my favorite Disney "moderate" resort. I love the theming, the pool complex and the food court!
    I don't usually care much for the view selections as I don't spend much time in the room. That said, if it matters to you, then it matters to me! :) I always think it's is nice and relaxing to have a water view. So, if it fits the budget, I say go for a water view request.
