Hi all! Thanks for all the help so far! Planning HS with EMH in am... can I head right over to secure a spot for my boys for jedi academy or is that line up not open til 9??? Thanks for the help, again!

On a visit last year to the Hollywood Studios during a morning Extra Magic Hours I did pass by the sign in area for the Jedi Academy. The sign in area, typically located in the Sound Stage Studio near the actual Jedi stage, appeared to open with the park.

But remember, all things can change at Walt Disney World. Schedules and procedures change. So I would recommend that you do swing over immediately. There should be a cast member nearby who can tell you if they are opening right away or not. Assuming not, you will have to decide if sticking around is worth it, or if you want to go elsewhere. I would suggest staying, as the experience is a really unique, memorable, and cool one.

    Have a magical vacation!
