Hi, Jamie!
Thanks for sending more information about your older
son! Planning the perfect day in Walt Disney World is always about the
interests of the Guest, so this helps!
Your sports-loving son might be interested in attending the
2013 Special Olympics Florida Summer Games,
which takes place at the state-of-the-art ESPN Wide World of Sports on
May 17 and 18, 2013. Even a few hours spent here might be right up his
alley, so be sure to check out the possibilities during your stay. If
your older son is a baseball fan, you might want to bring him over to
Downtown Disney where he can have a
customized baseball bat made just for him. Now THAT would be quite a souvenir!
For the music fan, be sure your older son gets to
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.
This is a great, fast ride, with the added bonus of seeing and hearing
the boys from Aerosmith along the way, too. :-) Maybe bring a little
souvenir money, too, so that he can buy drumsticks, guitar pics or any
other combination of really cool items available after he proves himself
on this fantastic attraction. There's nothing else like this anywhere!
A
day for this son in Disney's Hollywood Studios might be perfect, with a
trip to Downtown Disney complementing the day, too. Don't forget to try
the Tower of Terror while at HS...it's an attraction that you'll soooo
want to enjoy...:-)
Send more questions, Jamie! I love to help!
