Thanks for the help on Dream cabin 8063-8089. The only non connecting I see available is 8551. Hard to tell from deck map if still really midship . Is 8551 right near elevator/stairs? Any other deck suggestions?

    Ahoy, Anita!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Choosing a stateroom for an upcoming high-seas adventure is one of my favorite parts of the planning process. It's my pleasure to help you figure out the perfect location for your home away from home during your upcoming DREAM-y vacation!

The interactive map of the deck plans on Disney Cruise Line's website is one of my favorite tools to use while deciding on a particular stateroom! In my opinion, stateroom 8551 is technically still considered midship; however, it is just aft of the forward elevators. The elevators are very close to this stateroom. This will allow you to be just steps away from all the action around the ship via a short elevator ride!

It has been my experience that choosing a stateroom in the middle of the ship lessens the feeling of rocking from the motion of the ocean. If you have concerns about feeling the movement of the ship, midship is a great choice! One thing that I recommend doing is decorating your stateroom door with magnetic signs to commemorate your cruise! It will give the outside of your stateroom door a personal and festive touch!

Anita, I hope I was able to assist you in the process of choosing your stateroom location. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to sail back and visit us again!
