    hi moms thanks for all the help. i amstaying at the pofq and would like to go to the prime outlets (where the disney store is) what is the best and most economical way to get there. taxi rent a car. at at what locations should we either rent or p/u a cab

    You are quite welcome! It's our pleasure to answer any and all Disney vacation planning questions for Guests such as yourself.

     

    If your heart is set on visiting the Prime Outlets and you don't have a rental car during this trip, I would suggest hiring a taxi. The last time my family and I visited the World, we used a cab to take us to our early morning breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's. We used Checker Cab Co., but I'm certain fees are comparable amongst the various taxi companies servicing Disney Resort Hotels. Ask your resort concierge to call you a cab, or you may call them directly at (407) 422-2222.

     

    Since you'll be staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter I would recommend taking the ferry to the Downtown Disney Area to visit the World of Disney store too. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.
