    Thanks for all of the great tips. I have a question about the pirate cruise for the kids that leaves from a few of the resorts. Can you tell me a little about this?. I have a 5 yr old who would love it. Also are the kids apprehensive to go alone?

    You and your little swashbuckler will love the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage at Walt Disney World. You will sail the Seven Seas Lagoon on a voyage filled with tales of adventure, pirate songs, dazzling fireworks off the starboard bow and so much more. Before you check in at Disney's Contemporary Resort for a moonlight cruise have a nosh with some beverages and snacks that includes fruit, popcorn and other scrumptious confections. Parents and children alike will be filled with adventure and amazement as the head to the docks, where Captain Hook and the bumbling Mr. Smee are waiting to give everyone a proper send-off, and make sure you have a camera ready. We took a great family shot here that the kids and I always get a kick out of. I think that your five year old will have such a magical experience on this journey. It is perfectly suited for kids that age. Pirates and Pals normal operates Friday through Monday, with the event starting one hour and 30 minutes prior to the scheduled fireworks spectacular. You need to know that a pre-payment is required and there is also a cancellation policy if you cancel with insufficient notice. I would just call the friendly cast members at (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529 up to 180 days prior to your visit. I hope this assists you in making this the best vacation ever.
